Construction Progress

Significant progress has been achieved at Forest Hills apartments despite the grave challenges encountered with ordering finishing items due to the prevailing lack of foreign exchange in the country. In fact, EAP is well on track to completing the project within a few months pending the arrival of the final sets of finishing materials shortly. As the pictures below show, progress made to date includes the following:

  • Exterior painting
  • Balcony railings
  • Installation of all porcelain flooring
  • Installation of bathroom porcelain walls
  • Interior doors
  • Light fixtures
  • First set of kitchen cabinetry (please note appliances are for display only)
  • Arrival of toilets ready for installation
  • Common areas marble and railings
  • Elevator machinery installed

Homeowner Association bylaws are being drafted and feedback being solicited in advance of presentation to all homeowners at what we expect to be the final event prior to handover in mid June at the project site. Water Forever!

We’ve dug a borehole on Forest Hills’ grounds, going over 200m deep in order to access pristine, clean water from an aquifer that is sourced from Sululta Mountains. Why is that important to you? That means this community will never run out of water. The main water supply will still be the primary source but the well will act as the ultimate backup in a city where water stoppages are all too common.  Just one more way EAP goes above and beyond to give you value for your money.

Structural, block work, roofing and plastering has largely been completed and finishing work has begun.  Marble window sills have already been installed and aluminum installation is well under progress with an estimated completion timeframe of late December.

Also in December, the following elements are expected to be completed:• All concrete and steel structure work finalized

  • Roofing completely finalized
  • Porcelain arrival on site
  • Completion of all plastering and site cleaning work

The schedule of finishing work for January will be updated at the end of the month.
